30 May 2017 - Urban Eutopia

Brescia, University of Brescia, 2 pm - The regeneration of buildings and the urban fabric is one of the great challenges of our time, especially for those who have to or want to deal with the development processes of territories and cities.
The Research Program of National Interest (PRIN) on Integrated Rehabilitation (structural, morphological and performance-oriented) of Italian building assets coordinated by Professor Marina Montuori and a study by Barbara Angi have allowed the publication of the volume "Eutopia Urbana. The Integrated rehabilitation of social housing / Eutopia Urbanscape. The combined redevelopment of social housing" part of the new series Expectations of the LetteraVentidue publishing house.
On the occasion of the presentation of the book and the series, on Tuesday, 30 May, a roundtable is being held, involving exponents of different disciplines, called on to provide their own contributions and visions for formulating possible urban and territorial development strategies.
Marco MARCATILI, Nomisma Economist and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Expectations series of the LetteraVentidue publishing house, is participating in the initiative.

Bologna Urban Center, at 14:00 - Marco Marcatili, economic analyst of Nomisma, will present a report on the procedures and finance for the regeneration of public buildings at the conference entitled "Social housing and energy efficiency. Policies and regeneration practices of the public housing stock " promoted by the Municipality of Bologna, the University of Bologna and by professional associations.
It is part of a three-day event (6-8 April 2016) devoted to housing policy and regeneration of public housing issues entitled "Social Living: energy for the city" which in turn is one of the planned closure events of an European project in which the Municipality took part actively as a partner (HERB - Holistic Energy-efficient Retrofitting of residential Buildings)

Bologna, Emilia-Romagna Region Aula Magna, 9:00 AM - After the success of the first edition, the training course designed by the Emilia-Romagna Region’s Urban Planning, Landscape and Sustainable Land Use Service returns within the context of the European project Republic-Med.

The aim is to develop project proposals concerning the upgrading of urban comfort, simulating the comparison with a piece of specifically designed legislation and a tender for the allocation of public funds for the transformation and recovery of public spaces of the built-up city.

Marco Marcatili, Nomisma economic analyst, will speak during the first seminar "Urban Regeneration and Climate Change: ideas and proposals for resilient cities", which provides participants with the basic concepts of regeneration and urban microclimate that are necessary in order to plan cities that are resilient and able to cope with the impacts of climate change.

Milano Marittima (RA) – INU Emilia Romagna organises the Summer School on the “Financial Instruments for urban transformation and local development projects: contents and operating procedures”.

The aim of the Summer School is to provide participants with technical and operational skills helpful to design and manage complex projects of regeneration and urban renewal, using suitable organisational and financial tools.

29 June 2015 - Living the future

In the framework of Expo 2015, Marco Marcatili, Nomisma’s economist, presents the work done for Bologna Fiere and in particular for the SAIE event, to be held from 14 to 17 October 2015.

University of Padua - Marco Marcatili, Nomisma Economist, is speaking at the conference "An Agreement for a regional programme of strategies and policies for urban regeneration - Objectives and values for the Veneto cities of the future", making the presentation "From project planning to strategic vision: a look at regenerative processes”.

The Agreement represents a commitment to debating ideas and specific viewpoints on the central issues affecting the Veneto area (from laws to projects for renovating the productive and administrative system to the search for resources) and to work so that the richness of the debate can become a system of knowledge serving the entire community.

This is not a random gathering, but represents a concrete commitment to work together, applying a holistic approach to all issues of territorial governance, in which it is important to assess the complexity of the contents in order to simplify the proposals.
