He is President of Carlo Tassara S.p.A. and Carlo Tassara International S.A.
Furthermore, he is an Advisor to SACE and CLOE Foundation and is a member of the Evaluation Group of the Bocconi University, of the Master in Finance Committee of CORIPE, GEI, the Asia Observatory, the Advisory Board of Mandarin Capital Partners, the Committee of Experts of ISTAO and the Lombardy and Piedmont Banking Association.
He has been Director General and Deputy to the CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo, after having been Director General of the Group Sanpaolo IMI from November 2004.
He has been Vice Director General, Deputy to the CEO of Unicredit Group, CEO of Unicredit Banca d’Impresa and of Unicredit Banca Mobiliare and President of Pioneer Investments, Pioneer Global Asset Management, Tradinglab, TLX and of IMI Bank.
He began his professional development in the Planning and Economic Research Division of Credito Italiano in 1977, after having earned an honours degree in Political Economy at the Bocconi University of Milan.
In addition, he has been an Advisor to various important companies, including Telecom Italia, Olivetti, e-MID and the Italian Stock Exchange, the Consortium Patti Chiari, the Cassa Risparmio del Veneto, the Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna, the Banca Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, the Banca Prossima, the Intesa Previdenza, the Carifirenze, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Bank of Alexandria, Mandarin Capital Management, the Torino Wireless Foundation and the Italy China Foundation and Vice President of the Italian Banking Association (ABI), Pro MAC, the Banco di Napoli and Pioneer Investment Management USA.

Luciano Sita
Luciano Sita, 68 years old, manager and expert on cooperatives from Bologna, was head of the Granarolo Group until 2009. Called upon in 1991 to improve the growth prospects of the company, he left the firm twenty years later, following a total of 19 profitable merger&acquisition operations and after having transformed what was essentially a regional cooperative into a large national group.
His previous experiences were all concentrated in the commercial distribution sector : among the founders of Conad in the 1960s , he spent the early part of his career in the distribution chain, where he has held different positions, including that of Director General through 1989, the year in which he assumed the presidency of the National Association of Retail Cooperatives (1989-1991).
Luciano Sita has also been national president of Legacoop Agroalimentare (2007-2009), vice president of Centromarca (2007-2009) and member of the Board of Directors of Hera S.p.A (2004-2009) as well as of the Ramazzini Institute, the Villa Smeraldi Institution, the Heart Care Foundation and the Cefa non-profit organisation, in addition to being president of Impronta Etica non-profit organisation. His briefest experience was as Town Councillor for Productive Activities, Tourism, Historical City, Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the last elected Administration of the Municipality of Bologna, which only lasted a few months (July 2009-February 2010).

Piera Magnatti
With a university degree in Economics, Piera Magnatti has worked at Nomisma since 1985 and is engaged in applied research and technical assistance in various fields linked to industrial and territorial development.
She was a professor of Industrial Economics at the Political Science Faculty of the University of Bologna, Forlì campus, and a docent in various national and international Masters programmes.
She held the post of Advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policy on the topic of structural and local development policies (2006-2007) and was a consultant to Confindustria (Rome) for Southern Italy (2001 – 2004).
At Nomisma, she has been a member of the Board of Directors as well as a representative of SISAG and Director of Research since 2006 and CEO since 2009; from 2007 she has also been covering the function of Secretary of the Scientific Committee.
