ERAWATCH foresees the preparation of Annual Analytical Country Reports, which provide annual reviews of the status and evolution of national and regional research systems and policies; emerging themes and trends in the structure, content and evolution of research systems; synthesis and overview of EU Member States' and other countries’ progress towards ERA. Beginning in 2010, ERAWATCH is also covering developments in Albania. Nomisma in cooperation with ACER www.acer.org.al has prepared the first ever Country Report and Country Fiche 2010 for Albania. A Country Report and Country Fiche for 2011 are currently being elaborated.  Furthermore, the project involves developing and updating the online Research Inventory comprising information on Albania’s science, research and higher education system.
